If you are printing a 70's party invitation and
need ideas for what to do at a 70's party or any
other decade, I had a 70's party several years ago
and it was a lot of fun. Everyone came to my 70's
Party dressed in old 70's clothes and we had a Best
Dressed Contest. We had to get the 70's clothes
from a thrift store. My husband wore these tight
white "Saturday Night Fever Pants" and
a Blue shirt with several buttons unbuttoned. It
was so funny! Just thinking about it makes me smile.
We also had a "Name That 70's TV Show"
type game where I played theme music from 70's TV
shows and the party guests had to guess the name
of the TV show. Thank Goodness for TV Land and Nick
at Night :) Believe it or not at the time I recorded
the tv theme songs using a tape recorder. Lol. Of
course I bought a lot of 70's music cds. I also
had a board game called Family Feud with a version
from the 70's. It was fun guessing what the answers
would be based on living in the Seventies. I gave
out prizes for those who won the games and gift
bags for everyone. I've been thinking about having
another 70's Party this year.
All of the decade theme party invitations have
themed illustrations that match the decade of the
party such as images of the Twenties, Fifties, Sixties,
Seventies, Eighty's and Ninety's. The images include
juke boxes, records, leather jackets, peace symbols,
sixties flowers, disco scenes, vans, afros, gold
chains, boom boxes, grunge scenes and more. All
of the party invitations have a party header which
says what type of party the invitation is for along
with party confetti and festive balloons.
The 20's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's Party
Invitations are quarter page folded invitations.
This means that you fold an 8 1/2 sheet of paper
in half and fold again to create a single party
invitation. The party invitations are blank templates
so you can write in the name of who the party is
given by, the date, time, location and RSVP information
for the 20's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's or 90's party
celebration. Just print out the party invitation
and fill in the party information.
