IN THIS ISSUE:
As usual, I've been pretty busy adding new web templates to the website. The business templates section is pretty beefed up (350+ templates) and I plan to shift gears and concentrate more on personal and wedding templates in the coming weeks. When I can get a minute, I try to sneak in a little site promotion. I recently purchased a listing in the Business.com directory. That has been generating quite a few hits for the site. I've also been searching for good sites to exchange links with. I was very pleased to see the site mentioned in WebMonkey.
On the wedding templates page I've added links to wedding resources, hoping to pull in some new traffic from couples looking for wedding web sites. If you look at the template site, you'll notice the instantly downloadable templates are gone now. I've had problems with credit card fraud so all web templates are emailed within 1 business day. This gives time to verify that the sale is legitimate.
Everyone has been jumping on the Open Directory band wagon. Well, now my web site is on it too! And why not? The Open Directory is a great way to increase your site's value to your visitors. No matter what your website's theme is, you can select the appropriate categories from the Directory and add instant stickiness to your web site. For my site I used the Personal Open Directory script. It was very easy to configure.
The guest book is open for entries again. I had to close it down due to inappropriate comments being left in it. The new guest book requires admin approval before entries are posted on the web site. It also automatically sends the visitor a nice thank you note after their entry is approved. Click here to read and sign the guest book.
That's about it for now. Talk to you next month.
